In his early forties, Jace Storstrand is a military intelligence officer who is looking forward to retirement and a civilian career as a bio-chip programmer.
That is, until an anarchist collective known as the Purists decides that mankind's integration has gone too far, and engineers an army of super-soldiers to make their point.
Jace comes across a copy of the Purist Manifesto during an intelligence mission. When he enlists the help of his sub-contractor girlfriend Alana Torres, an integrator who also has coding expertise, they discover that they may be fighting a different enemy than holier than thou cyborg proxies. In fact, they're certain of it. Trouble is, no one is all that interested as any excuse for putting the hackers down is good enough for the suits.
What none of them realize is- the Purists are already too late. Even worse- they may be right.
